Research Integrity

The Research Integrity Game is a browser-based training game for early-career researchers, built on the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2018) and its supporting guides. In Mode A, you play a first-year researcher facing forty short, fictional but realistic scenarios: gift authorship, quietly deleted data points, undisclosed consultancies, ghost-written peer reviews. For each, you judge the conduct (fine, questionable, or breach) and pick an escalation move, then see how an expert panel and its level of consensus compared. In Mode B, you sit on a Human Research Ethics Committee: flag concerns in an application, deliberate, vote, and draft conditions.
